Buttock lift
Abstract
A Brazilian butt lift, Brazilian buttock lift, or buttock lift is buttock augmentation using fat grafting, which involves the harvesting, processing and transfer of fat from one or more areas of the body into the superficial tissues of the buttocks. Ageing, sun damage, pregnancy, significant fluctuations in weight and genetic factors may contribute to poor tissue elasticity that can result in sagging of the buttocks. When performed correctly, the results are natural, harmonious, safe and permanent. If performed badly, the results may be disastrous and potentially lethal. Olivier Branford, an aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon, provides an overview of buttock lifting and its safety, efficacy and indications.
