The PM's Commission
Abstract
The Stafford inquiry has given numerous examples of poor front line nursing care. But now, as if to answer some of the questions raised in that inquiry, and to set the agenda for the future direction of nursing, comes the recent publication of the Prime Minister’s Commission on the future of Nursing and Midwifery in England. The report is aptly named, Front Line Care and is the first overarching review of nursing and midwifery in England since 1972
